After experiencing firsthand the shame of Student Lunch Debt, Emma Falkenmeyer made the decision to highlight this community issue and got to work on the development of the fundraising initiative known as School Lunch Pals.
Falkenmeyer, a current senior at Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Central School District, is a devoted student, placing in the top 5% of her class academically. She also enriches her experience outside of the classroom through the participation in various clubs and sports.
Emma attributes her success in life to the unconditional love, support and acceptance of her family.
